Two of the founding values of Refine Psychological is education and community.  Lauren, Annika, and Kelly-Dawn have offered multiple presentations, speak on committees and are deeply committed to extending the impacts of therapeutic work beyond the office walls. 

Every year each psychologist on Refine Team offers two information sessions geared towards meeting specific needs to community based organizations.  These presentations have included; work life balance, understanding early impacts of trauma, avoiding burnout, intimate partner communication skills, fostering healthy attachment across development, emotional coaching for parents, mindfulness and more.

We have a profound belief in the benefit using our unique skill sets to offer valuable and tailored information in support of various members of our community.

Clinical Supervision

Registered Provisional Psychologist Clinical Supervision is a mandatory part of the registration process to become a psychologist in Alberta. At Refine Psychological we offer supervision in the branch of Clinical/Counselling Psychology. Contact us directly for more information.

Lunch & Learns

This comprehensive program offers practical tools for effective communication, conflict navigation, emotional governance, and emotional agility. Lunch & learns introduce the transformative concept of Emotional Governance, which is strategically attending to emotions to foster trust, improve performance, and support organizational goals. Through each session Kelly-Dawn works collaboratively with you to identify and unpack underlying conflict patterns, providing guidance on how to disrupt and transform them while tailoring content to your workplace's unique emotional landscape and leadership culture.

Lunch & Learn Series

Lunch & Learn series include all the benefits of our standalone Lunch & Learn with expanded depth and continuity, designed as an evolving program to deepen understanding, support emotional governance, and create sustainable change as opposed to just a one-time touch point. The built-in time between sessions allows for real-world application, reflection, and course correction, creating a powerful way to maintain momentum, reinforce learning, and provide thoughtful follow-up after workshops or in-service training. 

Workshop Format

Workshops begin with an initial consultation with your leadership team to understand organizational dynamics and goals. They include confidential staff surveys to surface emotional and relational pain points that may be impacting performance or culture. Each customized two-hour workshop is focused on your team's specific challenges while being rooted in emotional intelligence, governance, and conflict awareness and provides practical, workplace-specific handouts and tools to support long-term integration and emotional agility.

In Service style

Elevate your team's communication with a full-day immersive workshop or two flexible half-day sessions designed to spark meaningful transformation in how your organization approaches conflict, connection, and emotional dynamics at work.
